Emily of New Moon

I liked reading "The Blue Castle" so much, that I've decided to start the "Emily" books. I like them so far, but I haven't gotten that far yet. Maybe in a month or so I'll have all of Montgomery's books read. I can't believe that I haven't read all of them yet.

I've read Emily before, I liked it, but I never read the middle both just the other too. For awhile they had an Emily of New Moon tv show which was really bad... I didn't like it at all, though it was interesting.

I still get the emily of new moon t.v. show, though funnily enough I've never watched it. Maybe I'll check it out. While we're on the topic of L.mm. t.v. shows do you guys get anne of green gables the animated series? It meshes the story girl characters with Anne people. It's not true to the books really but it's kind of interesting. And the theme song is funny, I may post the lyrics later.... I read the emily's a while back and I kind of forget now. I remember liking the whole supernatural aspect of it.

yeah, well at least I have it. it plays on pbs at like 5 in the morning on Sundays so I have actually never seen it because it is way too early to get up... maybe I'll tape it or something, I dunno.

I love Emily, love the aunts, love Cousin Jimmy, love Ilse. Not too fond of Teddy, however.

I do enjoy the Emily books, though not quite as much as the Anne books. I like Emily and her family, but never been a huge fan of Dean, Teddy, and Ilse. I like them, but I can't get into them and their heads.

I am not sure that I always liked Dean because in "Emily of New Moon" Emily wants to kiss him or something, but he says something about wanting to wait but he is really implying that he'll wait until she is old enough to marry. I just remember reading it and being like, uh.

Yeah, Dean is sort of freaky. I hated him until I wrote about him in my Emily's Path ff. Once I got inside his head and "reformed" him, I felt better about it.

  8. The Emily are always so inspiring. I hope you find them so as well. Good luck on reading!
