I haven't watched Band of Brothers myself, but I know a lot of you have, so when one of my friends posted a link to an article about the real Dick Winters passing away, I knew I had to share it with you all!

I saw that just a little bit before you posted it here. He was a true American Hero.
This is truly sad. But if anyone ever lived a full life, dedicated to service of others and of his country, it was Maj. Winters. Thanks for posting this, Louise.
