Planning An Event

I have a proposal, dear friends.  Our family has just recently gotten very interested in Skype, what with Bart's brother in Afghanistan.  Anyway, I propose that some time this fall, we schedule a Skype Conference Call, a sort of Tangled Blog Virtual Conference.  We can discuss anything from the books, to the fan fictions, to any other number of things.

What do you think?

I think it's a great idea! My sister's been after me to get Skype for a while now, maybe this will help me stop procrastinating. It would be a good way to get our creative juices flowing, too!

    That's what I was thinking.

I am now officially on Skype, so I am good for this whenever we decide to go for it!

I'm leaning toward a September / October date. My August doesn't appear to be any calmer than June and July were.

My availability for the foreseeable future cannot include working hours, because I don't have the equipment there. So, 8-5:30 central time on weekdays is off the table for me. I imagine it may take us a while to hammer out scheduling details.

Who knows though? If we enjoy it and can find time, it may become a regular event that we can join in when/if we want to or are available for.

Definitely after August. Carl's working overtime this entire month, so my life gets to turn crazy, too. September/October should be fine, and I'm flexible on times.

Yours too? Bart's workload may lesson around December. Oh, and he's teaching again this semester.
