"This Day in History" Comment

I can’t help but look at the “This Day in History” column and wonder if there wasn’t something more important than Judge Wapner and The People’s Court premiering on television that happened today in history.  I wonder who decides which facts are important and which ones aren’t, because I don’t think that is a very important fact.  I don’t even think that V-J day got that much mention there.  Maybe I need to find a new source for such facts.

Actually, I thought it was kinda humorous. But then again, maybe I've seen too many "I Love the 80s" and "I Love the 80s Strikes Back". ;)

  2. I can't say that I haven't spent countless hours remembering my childhood with those two shows. However, I would think that there was something of a little more import that had happened that day in history.

I have a feeling it might have something to do with sponsors of something. Just things like "discovery bus travel channel" look a little suspicious to me. But then again I was only seven when that happened, so maybe that one was actually a big deal, I don't know

  5. I get what you said. BTW, have you changed your ff.net penname again?

Sept. 11 is up now and I don't see in our small list of events the most important event in modern history on that day 9/11.
