    Anne, of course!

    Kilmeny

    3. Who is your favorite Non- LMM literary heroine? (Yes I know that’s the poll question, but those are my choices. I want to know yours)

I like Elizabeth Bennet a lot. If I don't name my first daughter Anne, I'll name her Elizabeth. I like Laura Ingalls from the Little House Books, too.

    4. Who is your favorite Non-LMM literary hero?
    Rhett Butler or Fitzwilliam Darcy.

    5. What is your guilty pleasure or favorite waste of time?
    Reading, writing fanfiction!

    6. What’s your favorite board game?
Scrabble. I don't play board games much. I have a weekly Texas Hold'em game though.

    7. What’s your favorite season? (Duck and Wabbit don’t count!)
    Autumn or Winter.

    8. Do you have a personal blog? If so and you wish to share it, what’s the address?
    http://www.livejournal.com/users/cathkitten

    9. What is the most bizarre fanfiction that you’ve ever read?
I read a couple of really nasty fics where Anne and Gilbert have sex all the time. Very graphic sex.

    10. If you could be any literary character for one day, who would you be, at what time, and why?
    Eliza Bennet

    11. If you could only have one channel on your television, what would it be? Okay, what if you could have five?

    1. Bravo
    2. NBC
    3. UPN
    4. TBS
    5. Fox

    12. Would you rather have an ending that is just happy, a sappy ending, or a sad and depressing (what some would call realistic) ending?

Of course I like happy endings best but they MUST be realistic happy endings (all the facts must fall in place just right, I don't like deus ex machina.)

  2. 1. Who is your favorite L. M. Montgomery character of all time?
Anne also, but probably because she was the first one I loved.

    2. Who is your least favorite L. M. Montgomery character of all time?
    Mrs. Frederick Stirling.

    3. Who is your favorite Non- LMM literary heroine? (Yes I know that’s the poll question, but those are my choices. I want to know yours)
I too am a fan of Miss Elizabeth Bennet and would also love to name a daughter Elizabeth or Lorelai or both!

    4. Who is your favorite Non-LMM literary hero?
It's a close tie between Mr. Darcy and Atticus Finch. Rhett Butler is pretty good as well. I often thought that it would have been better had Rhett and Melanie gotten together and Scarlet died. Of course, if you read the book, I think that Scarlet is a bit more likable. She is where I started liking the name Katie, and I have used it a lot since I first read GWTW in one night!

    5. What is your guilty pleasure or favorite waste of time?
Reading and writing fanfiction. Blogging. Constantly looking for ways to update blogs, web browsers, and email clients. Looking up historical facts.

    6. What’s your favorite board game?
I don't play them very often either, but Bart and I do have an extensive Trivial Pursuit collection. I love trivia, so this is my favorite game. We also occasionally play Scrabble. I finally beat Bart!!!

    7. What’s your favorite season? (Duck and Wabbit don’t count!)
I am a Spring and Autumn person. In the Spring, I believe that it is my favorite season, with the flowers and trees blooming, the thunderstorms, and etc. In the Autumn I think it is my favorite, with leaves turning, late roses blooming, college football games, and the relief from the sweltering heat.

    8. Do you have a personal blog? If so and you wish to share it, what’s the address?
    http://anecdotesandattitiude.blogspot.com/

    9. What is the most bizarre fanfiction that you’ve ever read?
I've read a few about Anne of Gilbert having sex as well, but I think the most bizarre ones are the ones where people believe that Matthew is gay. There is one where that is the reason Marilla and John Blythe part ways.

    10. If you could be any literary character for one day, who would you be, at what time, and why?
I would like to be Anne at Ingleside during Christmas when the children are all young, but not the Christmas Aunt Mary Maria was there! I would also like to be Elizabeth Bennet at almost any point in the book!

    11. If you could only have one channel on your television, what would it be? Okay, what if you could have five?
    1. The History Channel
    2. The WB (Gilmore Girls!)
    3. Turner Classic Movies
    4. Hallmark Channel (Little House on the Prarie and The Waltons)
    5. TBS (It has Ray, Friends, and Seinfeld!)

    12. Would you rather have an ending that is just happy, a sappy ending, or a sad and depressing (what som e would call realistic) ending? I love a realistic, happy ending with a touch of sappy. I love to cry when reading or watching a movie, however I am no fan of deus ex machina. I want things to be believable.

  3. r6144 Says:

    1. Who is your favorite L. M. Montgomery character of all time?
Cecily King. However, in other moods I might have chosen Pat, Hilary or Bets.

    2. Who is your least favorite L. M. Montgomery character of all time?
Maybe Rilla Blythe, if people meant to be hated, such as May Binnie or the two Irenes or other mean gossipy women, do not count.

    3. Who is your favorite Non- LMM literary heroine? (Yes I know that’s the poll question, but those are my choices. I want to know yours)
    Melanie Hamilton.

    4. Who is your favorite Non-LMM literary hero?
Maybe Demi Brooke in L.M.Alcott's Little Men and Jo's Boys.

    5. What is your guilty pleasure or favorite waste of time?
Reading and posting in various online forums. Even Wikipedia and Everything2 can be addictive!

    6. What’s your favorite board game?
    Go.

    7. What’s your favorite season? (Duck and Wabbit don’t count!)
I like rainy days in any season, whether cold rains in February or warm, heavy ones in June. Even though they lead to frostnips and floodings!

    8. Do you have a personal blog? If so and you wish to share it, what’s the address?
http://spaces.msn.com/members/r6144/, but it is mostly in Chinese.

    9. What is the most bizarre fanfiction that you’ve ever read?
I remember a very bizarre one about Snow White and her evil stepmother on fanfiction.net, but I can't find it just now.

    10. If you could be any literary character for one day, who would you be, at what time, and why?
Pat, with Bets in "April Magic" or with Hilary in "Let's Pretend". It is so nice to have real kindred spirits.

    11. If you could only have one channel on your television, what would it be? Okay, what if you could have five?
I don't know. Television seems to be quite optional for me, given that I have newspapers and the 'net for news and most shows here are either worth the DVD price or a waste of time. Besides, I guess most of you do not watch the Chinese channels :)

    12. Would you rather have an ending that is just happy, a sappy ending, or a sad and depressing (what some would call realistic) ending?
All kinds are okay for me, as long as they don't sound contrived. I can remember some good ones of each kind. Among LMM works I think the ending of Magic for Marigold is the most memorable.

  4. Rachel Says:

I like Anne the best though I am reading the Pat books right now and she is a close second.

    2. Who is your least favorite L. M. Montgomery character of all time?

    Mary Vance

    3. Who is your favorite Non- LMM literary heroine? (Yes I know that’s the poll question, but those are my choices. I want to know yours)

    Jane Eyre

    Reading

    Trivial Pursuit

    7. What’s your favorite season? (Duck and Wabbit don’t count!)

Autumn, I love the sight and the smell of the changing leaves and I like when its starts getting cooler.

    8. Do you have a personal blog? If so and you wish to share it, what’s the address?

    No

    9. What is the most bizarre fanfiction that you’ve ever read?

There are so many bad and bizarre fanfics out there, it's hard to choose and I never finish them when they are graphic or grotesque. One of the funniest bizarre fanfics I read was a Back to the Future fanfic that contained emails back and forth through time.

    10. If you could be any literary character for one day, who would you be, at what time, and why?

Hermione Granger. She is intellegent and can do more magic then her classmates, and I think it would be fascinating to live in a magical world.

    11. If you could only have one channel on your television, what would it be? Okay, what if you could have five?

    1. BBC
    2. Discovery
    3. WB
    4. Fox
    5. TLC

    12. Would you rather have an ending that is just happy, a sappy ending, or a sad and depressing (what some would call realistic) ending?

I like happy endings but realistic is good when it isn't too depressing.

  5. Beatle Chic Says:

    2. Who is your least favorite L. M. Montgomery character of all time?
Hmmm. . .Off the top of my head right now, I'd have to say Rilla and, (dare I say it) Walter.

    3. Who is your favorite Non-LMM literary heroine? (Yes I know that’s the poll question, but those are my choices. I want to know yours.)
Oh let's see. . .Hermione Granger, Laura Ingalls Wilder, Emma Woodhouse, Jo March (until she rejected Laurie; glad LMM got the love story right w/ Anne) ;)

    4. Who is your favorite Non-LMM literary hero?
    Aragorn, Tom Sawyer, Harry Potter

    5. What is your guilty pleasure or favorite waste of time?

    Catch Phrase

    7. What’s your favorite season? (Duck and Wabbit don’t count!)
Autumn. . .love the leaves changing colors, picking apples (& making apple pies, yum!), hayrides, Halloween, watching the harvesting of crops. I also like the season of Christmas. ;) Love getting out all the decorations, having family and friends over, making cookies, singing Christmas carols, watching the snow fall, drinking hot chocolate, and enjoy a warm fire in the fireplace.

    8. Do you have a personal blog? If so and you wish to share it, what’s the address?
I don't have a personal blog, but I do have a website where I have some Arwen costumes I made on it. I describe how I made them and also have pics of my costumes.

    9. What is the most bizarre fanfiction that you’ve ever read?
Hmmm. . .I'll have to get back to that one. Probably the usual ones that were already stated.

    10. If you could be any literary character for one day, who would you be, at what time, and why?
Anne during her sophomore year at Redmond.

    11. If you could only have one channel on your television, what would it be? Okay, what if you could have five?
    1. Fox/FSN Midwest (gotta have the OC and Cards games)
    2. BBC America
    3. History Channel
    4. Nickalodeon (love Nick @ Nite)
    5. HGTV or Disney...it's a toss up

    12. Would you rather have an ending that is just a happy, sappy ending, or a sad and depressing (what some would call realistic) ending?
A realistic happy ending, although happy, sappy endings are always a good escape from reality

  6. DylanLeeLo Says:

    I realize I haven't been here in a while..But I love doing these. So I will.

    1. Who is your favorite L. M. Montgomery character of all time?
Gosh I don't know. They're all good in their own way. Anne is definately up there though.

    2. Who is your least favorite L. M. Montgomery character of all time?
Hmm, for a while I didn't really like Mary Vance. But she grew on me.

    3. Who is your favorite Non- LMM literary heroine? (Yes I know that’s the poll question, but those are my choices. I want to know yours)
I can't really choose. When I read books I mostly somehow read them as if I am the heroine, unless it is a true story of course. So I can't really say I like anyone more than anyone else it they're all me. I like being Mattie Gokey, Cassandra Mortmain and Scout most I suppose

    4. Who is your favorite Non-LMM literary hero?
I am going to have to make it a list...Atticus Finch, Robert Ross, Holden Caulfield, Pi Patel and Samwise Gamgee

    5. What is your guilty pleasure or favorite waste of time?
Modern movies made about the victorian era...Vanity Fair, Sense and Sensibility, Little Women and writing Weird Al style parody songs. And taking cakey courses at school. And going over the top on minor english projects....And baking. And dreaming up random stories that I star in. You see now why I'm not so prolific on this fan fic.

    6. What’s your favorite board game?
    Balderdash/Malarky and Atmosphere.

    7. What’s your favorite season? (Duck and Wabbit don’t count!)
I like fall for the big Ontario Macintoshes and the dead leaf smell and thanksgiving and Halloween. But I like earlyy spring a lot too.

    8. Do you have a personal blog? If so and you wish to share it, what’s the address?
Several, I've abandonned them all though for plain old pencil and paper diaries.

    9. What is the most bizarre fanfiction that you’ve ever read?
If you go in the lord of the ring section of fan fiction...there's some odd ones. Because you get the fans of the book who go in depth with elaborate details and accuracy and then you have those fan girls who like the actors from the movie and write multitudes of stories about them falling into middle earth and falling in love with Legolas or Aragorn. theres some funny crossovers too.

    10. If you could be any literary character for one day, who would you be, at what time, and why?
I'd like to be Harry Potter just to see what doing magic was like. And I'd also like to be Gemma Doyle because she also has magical powers and plus she lives in Victorian times..which I would like to visit occaisionally.

    11. If you could only have one channel on your television, what would it be? Okay, what if you could have five?
I'd say the history channel, not the canadian one but the american one... It's so much better for some reason.

    12. Would you rather have an ending that is just happy, a sappy ending, or a sad and depressing (what some would call realistic) ending?
I prefer books that have no ending. Like catcher in the Rye, they just end randomly. It screws you over for school projects when you have to pick out the culmunating point and the resolution and such. But it leaves more to imagine and more opportunities for fan fic, and really even if it were a happy ending, we know as fanfiction writers that the characters don't die on the last page, they live on and there is no guaranteeing that they'll be safe from us torturing them with more problems to make our plots.
