I've started yet another ff, which is probably a bad idea but I couldn't resist. I have two chapters up. It's called Rilla My Rilla! and it takes place between RoI but before The Way of hte World, my Shirley/Una fic (Blasphemous!) The story starts in 1919, probably a month or so after Kenneth asks, "Is it Rilla-my-Rilla?" Jem and Carl and Jerry are home, but Shirley is not (I think it says in the books that he won't be home until closer to Christmas). I know I've written a lot about the Blythes/Merediths/Fords post WWI, but I was missing Rilla since there's so little of her in The Harbour Light, and I couldn't resist. I have major writer's block on that fic, any idea of where to go would be greatly appreciated, you talented folks!
Maybe I'll change a few minor things in this fic, just to keep it from being dull.
Anyway, I was looking around today and realized a lot of us use "family" names for Anne's grandchildren in our fics, me especially, and at times it gets confusing. Since most of the kids are born in the 1920s, I looked around and found some of the most popular baby names for that time period. I think it's interesting. (Ruby's on there!)
