is now posted at ff.net. That's the good news. The bad news is that chapter 9 concludes the portion of the story with which I'm relatively happy. The last one-third of the story continues to be a challenge for me as I worry that it won't live up to everyone's expectations. Nevertheless, I will continue to work on it and will update as soon as possible, but that may not be for a couple of weeks.
Take your time in getting the next part right. That's very important. You can't rush inspiration to write, and if you try, the product isn't as good as it could be. We may beg and plead for you to update, but we would rather have you write what is right.
There are certain aspects of storytelling where we have to write a part that we don't particularly like, but that is how plot often moves along.
Don't worry about our expectations. I'm sure that you had this planned out somewhat when you began. You've done an excellent job of storytelling so far. As long as you take your time and let your imagination take over, then whatever you put down in words will be right, no matter the outcome.
Needless to say, you have a great ff. It will remain a great ff.
