Yes, I admit. I am a native Oklahoman. I'm writing what I know, but I'm also stealing a little bit from the old Tom Cruise movie, "Far and Away." I don't know how I got the idea of Katie's family being from Oklahoma, but it is a subject I know a lot about, so I'm running with it. Also, that area has a very interesting history during the time period in question.
I've started on the next chapter. It's coming along fairly well, but I had a husband that wasn't feeling well last night, so I had to spend SOME time catering to him instead of writing. I'll get busy now though.
