I have a question, and I wonder what everyone thinks. The results will have a part of Katie's family history in Comfort and Joy.
During the British Civil War of 1600's, would you have rather have had ancestors that were on the side of the crown or Cromwell? In my opinion, it seems that it would have been better to support the crown, but I'm wondering which would have been more Darcy-ish?

Yeah, I know what you mean. I can't really see a Darcy supporting Cromwell. They seem to be good royalists. I doubt they did any fighting either. I'm going to have to do a lot of research on this subject.
I think that if I recall correctly, that a great deal of the landed gentry were the last to really go over to the church of England, so I doubt they would go all Puritan later on.
If they lost Pemberley during the Reformation, they surely got it back during the Restoration.
