I was wondering if when you write more than one fanfic for a particular book, movie, tv show, etc; do you like for all of your fanfics to be connected? Do you prefer to establish one continuous saga that extends through several fanfics, or is each one different? Do you say, have one fanfic where Nan and Jerry get married then change it to where Rilla and Jerry somehow fall in love and leve Ken and Nan to find someone else? (That's just something off the top of my head. I'm not writing anything like it, nor do I plan to.) Anyway, I was just wondering what everyone thought about the subject.
That's my idea too. I like for all of my ff's to be related. I want people to be able to remember when so and so did such and such and so on.
I usually try not to contradict one of my other fanfics, but my stories unless they are sequels aren't connected.
There is a story I'm hoping to write as soon as one of my other LMM stories is finished that came to me as I wrote my first LMM story based on a character we know very little background on and expand on it.
